Four Best Kayaking Spots Near The Inn

So, you want to paddle?

Here’s a list of a few of our favorite spots within 30 minutes of The Vermont Inn!

Let’s start with the closest:

• Kent Pond is about 5.5 miles away from the Inn off Route 100 North. It’s a quiet area except for the occasional sound of the loons.
• Want to paddle while taking in some amazing views, then Chittenden Reservoir is for you. It’s just  10 miles away and features beautiful mountain views and quiet coves. It’s one of the best kayaking sites in our area!
• Our favorite spot in the fall, the Woodward Reservoir, is about 14 miles away from the Inn, located at Plymouth, Vermont, on Route 100 South, heading toward Ludlow.
• Glen Lake is about 29 miles from the Inn, located on Moscow Road in Fair Haven, and it’s part of Bomoseen State Park and near Half-Moon State Park as well. It’s a great place to paddle.
