Weddings at The Vermont Inn
We love to host Vermont weddings at our inn.
The Vermont Inn is surrounded by the Green Mountains and is a beautiful spot for a Vermont wedding.
We customize every celebration to exactly fit the couple's dreams. We can arrange flowers, balloons, wedding cake, music, photography, video, and Justice of the Peace. We have discount programs in place with many of our vendors and can either do the work for you or simply help you coordinate the communication with them. We are happy to be your Wedding Planner. Bring your friends and families to our bed and breakfast and enjoy a Vermont destination wedding while we take care of all the details.
We offer a range of menus for your special occasion. Here is our Party Menu with suggestions for a smaller event. For a reception or similar event you may wish to consider our hors d'oeurves menu. Our buffet menu presents other options in which you may be interested.
Option 1:
Wedding Reception at The Vermont Inn
- Vermont Country wedding in a traditional farmhouse setting with beautiful mountain views and country charm
- Personal attention, wedding planning, and preparation by Innkeepers
- Expertly prepared New England & Continental Cuisine by our executive Chef of over 23 years, Stephen Hatch
- Customizable bar option of beer & wine only, cash bar, or full bar for length of reception
- Private use of the dining room for weddings of 40-80 people with all linens, china, tables, and chairs included at no charge.
Or
- Use of front grounds for an outdoor reception of 80+ under a beautiful tent (additional cost for tent, chairs, china, table rentals, etc.)
- Use of our 6 acres of grounds with amazing gardens and front mountain views for the wedding ceremony. Indoor wedding ceremonies can also be held for 40-70 guests in our dining room
- Guest Rooms available for out-of-town wedding guests. Room discounts may be available depending on the time of year and number of rooms rented. As always, a full Vermont Country breakfast is included.
Option 2:
Renting the entire Inn for the weekend:
You will receive everything in option 1, plus the following:
- 16 individually decorated guest rooms available at a group discount
- Full use of the Inn’s common areas and outside grounds
- 100% attention of Inn owners for the weekend
- No outside non-wedding guests on premises
- Full Vermont Country Breakfast for wedding guests staying at the Inn. Additional per person charge for guests not staying at the Inn
- Discount of 15% off the party menu prices
- Ability to have a group gathering the night prior to the wedding for a private rehearsal dinner, outdoor barbeque, or pool party (seasonal)

Laurel Killough and Gustavo Fernandez - From Glastonbury Connecticut, married July 26, 2008 at 5:00 pm in the front perennial gardens of The Vermont Inn. 55 people were in attendance that day with a cocktail hour in the pub and plated sit-down dinner in the dining room. The wedding party, family, and friends reserved the entire Inn for two nights, Friday and Saturday, and then enjoyed a brunch for 50 people on Sunday, before departing from the Inn early Sunday afternoon. It was a wonderful weekend, enjoyed by all.

They had a beautiful Christmas wedding. Despite a snow storm that day, 40 people attended the ceremony, which was held indoors. The dining room, which was decorated for the holidays, was turned into a chapel for the afternoon ceremony and then converted back again to a restaurant to host a sit down plated dinner for 40 people. Bride and groom, parents, and a few relatives then spent the night in several of our guest rooms. A lovely time was had by all.
Becky and Bob - 65 guests, outdoor ceremony, sit down dinner, and dancing. "I just want to say that you made Bob's and my wedding perfect. Both of you went out of your way to make us, our families, and our guests comfortable in your inn".
